Xavier is a seasoned technology leader with 20+ years of experience and deep expertise in Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, infrastructure, platform engineering, and data. He brings a unique combination of strategic vision and hands-on technical capability to every engagement.
As former VP of Engineering at Sonder, Xavier led the company's technology transformation, scaling the engineering organization from 10 to 250+ people across all levels—ICs, Engineering Managers, Directors, PMs, TPMs, and Data & Design teams. Under his leadership, Sonder grew from $10M/month to $750M/month in revenue. He built global engineering teams through strategic offshoring in South America and Europe, and nearshoring in Canada and Mexico.
Currently serving as Fractional CTO/CPTO for Surfe, a growing French SaaS company, Xavier continues to help high-growth startups navigate the complexities of scaling technology organizations.
